This Path connects Victory with the Foundation. It reflects the way in which the divine energy inherent in each person is to be properly approached.

To this card is attributed fishhook. It implies meditation during which the individual consciousness is merged with the greater consciousness. A process linked to the use of the imagination. The Higher Self is angling to pull the Personality up from its depths.

Water is again a representation of consciousness in the Path. The containers used by the female figure in the card is a representation of the separation and then reintegration of feelings and intuition with intellect.

The energy used in the meditation process of the Star is obtained from the path of Strength, a path representing the conscious control of the Kundalini energy. As we encounter the Kundalini force, our sexual energies, we approach the great mysteries of Beauty. This process involves enervating the centers of energy and it is this energy that is used in the meditation on the path of the Star. It is the means and the method of perfection.

Whilst it may seem at first as though meditation is an activity, real success in meditation leads to the discovery that we do not meditate, but rather that we are meditated. The Higher Self brings the Personality into meditation. The very practical point implied here is that we must continually refer the lessons of the inner worlds, our results of our meditation to our daily lives and vice versa.

The figure in the Star is the purest manifestation of the Great mother before her enclosure into matter on the path of the World. She is the perfection of the physical form of nature. Of every existing thing under the Sun, therefore below Beauty.
