The images of the Tarot are archetypal representations of inner roads build through ages of mind work done by masters and men alike. 

A Tarot deck is said to reflect the universe, which is made up of permutations of the One. From the One emerges opposites which are activating and formative, male and female. These male and female figures are Chokmah and Binah wearing robes of different planes or vibratory rates of the universe.
